RackBuddy x Søren Le Schmidt

Frame Chrome is the result of a collaboration between Danish brand RackBuddy and acclaimed Danish designer Søren Le Schmidt. Le Schmidt is known for his stringent, functional approach to design – whether expressed through fashion or interiors – and in this collaboration he has led the development of a shelving system where form and function are inseparable. For Le Schmidt, this sets a fundamental requirement: a rack must be beautiful both when completely empty and when fully loaded. The choice of chrome as a finish is a deliberate aesthetic decision. The material interacts with light in a way that gives the piece a sense of lightness and visual restraint – and the result is a series that integrates naturally into the modern home without losing its presence.

Frame Chrome – Modular Shelving System

Frame Chrome builds on RackBuddy's modular DNA and offers a shelving system that can be configured and adapted to individual needs. The system is built from carefully considered components that can be combined freely – whether the need is for an abundance of shelves, space for hanging garments, or anything in between. It is precisely this flexibility that Søren Le Schmidt highlights as what sets Frame Chrome apart from conventional storage solutions. The system is not only designed to function here and now, but to be adapted, taken apart and rebuilt again and again – in step with changing homes and changing needs.

From Walk-in to Living Room Shelf

Frame Chrome is not one solution – it is the starting point for your own. The system can be designed and personalised for every room in the home according to function and style: as a complete walk-in wardrobe with hanging rails and shelves, as a freestanding rack in the bedroom, or as an elegant shelving system in the living room. You put the modules together yourself, choose the number of shelves and tailor the solution precisely to the room and purpose you have in mind. The result is a piece of furniture that is as personal as it is functional – and that grows with you and your home.
