Terms of service

All prices on the site include 25% VAT and 19% VAT to Germany, exclusively. RackBuddy takes reservation for price changes, typos, technical errors and sold out items. We also reserve the right to cancel any order if there might be an error in the price of the product. Shipping and delivery costs are disclosed before your purchase.

Products:

The conceptual for our products is to create a raw and worn look. We therefore produce our racks from a material called "black threaded pipe" made of iron. There are no 2 pipes that are alike. This means that the scratches and marks seen on the pipes are part of the design we want to capture. 

When we receive the pipes from the factory, they are smeared with oil that protects against rust and dirt. We try as far as possible to clean the racks before delivery, but we recommend cleaning the racks using a cloth with alcohol or turpentine before use. We do not replace ruined clothes or anything else that has become dirty or damaged after coming in contact with the clothes racks.

All our clothes racks are made with 3/4 inch pipes, which is equal to a diameter of 26mm. We have tested the durability of several different pipe sizes and came to the conclusion, that 3/4 inch is the best solution in terms of both durability and design.

The clothes racks are delivered partially assembled or in parts. Please note that the threads can be sharp and you should therefore be careful not to cut yourself when assembling the racks. The racks are assembled at your own risk and RackBuddy is not liable for any mismanagement of the racks.

It is important to tighten the fittings and pipes thoroughly so the rack holds together, to achieve the best possible durability and stability. It may be necessary to use a pipe wrench to get a proper grip. Make sure that racks that are used by/or near children are carefully assembled so that the parts cannot easily be unscrewed, revealing the sharp thread ends. The racks are not so immovable that they cannot be toppled by violent games and play. Damage caused by the racks is therefore your own responsibility.

The racks are only intended for clothes, bags, jewellery etc. and are not designed to hang on or otherwise be used as a fitness device.

Payment:  

At RackBuddy it is possible to pay by PayPal, VISA, and MasterCard. Products are payable upon ordering.  

All payments to RackBuddy go through an encrypted SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection. This means that all data that you send in connection with your purchase with a credit card is encrypted and can only by read by PBS. Thus, RackBuddy or third parties cannot see the information exchanged when you shop.

Pick Ups:

It is possible to pick up items at our warehouse in Esbjerg. Items picked up from our warehouse must be paid for via our website before they can be collected. If a pickup date and time has not been previously arranged before collection, we cannot guarantee that the item is ready for pickup at our warehouse. The pickup date should therefore be arranged with one of our employees at info@rackbuddy.com.

When collecting, it is important to check that the packaging and product are intact. It is of course possible to open the packaging and check the item before you leave our warehouse.

Shipping & Delivery:

The shipping cost will always be clearly indicated in the shopping cart before payment. At no point are hidden fees and charges added to the purchase.

The shipping cost of special clothes racks ordered via our "Design it yourself" page can vary depending on the size of the order. 

We try to deliver within 5-9 working days. There may be delays in production, so this timeframe is only an estimate and we cannot be held liable for any expenses for tradesmen or other costs related to a delay.

The recipient must sign for all packages upon delivery.

If you would like the order to be left in a certain location without acknowledgement of receipt, the customer bears the full responsibility and risk for the order from the time of delivery. 

If the customer would like the item to be sent again, they will be responsible for the shipping costs.

If RackBuddy receives items returned due to inaccurate or incomplete address information, the buyer is responsible for any shipping costs for a new shipment to the correct address.

We strive to deliver you order within 9 working days and preferably before. This is only an estimate and RackBuddy will not be held responsible for the postponement of the customer’s schedule in the case of delays. Sundays and public holidays are not counted as working days. Reservations are made for discontinued products and backorders.

Warranty:

If your items are defective, you as a consumer have a 2-year warranty. This means that you can either have your items repaired, replaced or get your money back depending on the specific situation.

If there is damage resulting for malfunction due to misuse, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear, the warranty will not cover it. If you have found a defect, let us know as soon as possible. For complaints, contact us at info@rackbuddy.com
