Materials and design Original Walk-In is made from raw water pipes in iron, giving an authentic industrial expression. The pipes are treated with a transparent lacquer, where the colour comes from the material itself. This means that patina, shade variations and small differences are a natural part of the design – making each rack unique. The system is constructed with a combination of Key Clamps and fittings with conical threads. This means that parts of the thread on the pipes will be visible. This is a deliberate part of the design and emphasises the raw and industrial look. The dresser is made from FSC-certified wood, ensuring responsible forestry and high quality. Frequently asked questions Can I adjust and expand the system after installation?Yes, the clothes rails, shelves and dressers can be adjusted in height. Does it require floor mounting?No, the system is fixed to the back wall and does not require floor mounting. Screws and universal plugs for mounting are included, and for dressers we include extra brackets for stable fastening. How much can the system carry?The rack can carry up to 100 kg, and the dressers up to 40 kg. DIY – customise your own solution You have the option to customise our Original Walk-In system yourself. With the flexible 90° top brackets, which do not require threading in the pipe, you can – with the right tools*** – customise the length of the top pipe, which is mounted directly in the bracket. The same applies to the clothes rail, which comes with either Tee Clamp fittings or Cross Tee Clamp fittings depending on the setup.
